To the Doug Elkins Dance Company, the exposure and involvement
of the community in the arts is vital.
Since touring takes the Company to communities of all sizes
and levels of artistic exposure, we have
developed a few programs that allow participants to explore
their creative side.
The primary objective of these activities is to broaden the
scope of company activities in the interest of
enhancing the impact of community visits. Specifically through
direct experience with dance. Our goal is
to work with presenters at providing programming to communities
who would benefit from the experience
of a deeper involvement with dance through
