Earlier, rug making was a laborious task since each of the Rugs was hand knitted. In Central Asia, around the 14th century before the Common Era, hand-knotted rugs were started. There are still some sample rugs remaining which are in display in ice in Pazryk valley. It was called the Pazryk rug which dates back to Persian weavers.

Modern means are available today to weave rugs which are less laborious and more durable. The needle felt rug is produced using advanced technology. The weavers use electrostatic method of pairing synthetic fibres to make this carpet. The designs are contemporary and are unique. As rugs have been used in households always as a part of home décor, it is not surprising to find their existence since a long time ago.

Today, lots of people use the synthetic Cheap Rugs with fine designs and vibrant colours. Another modern type of rug is the contemporary wool rugs which blends tufted wool tones to looped pile. A collection of these will prove a contemporary addition to your home décor.
